Detail UMS SIS SMART IRRIGATION SENSOR
Granular matrix sensor with linear output signal.
The SIS is a combination of the well-known Watermark( R) granular matrix soil moisture sensor type 200SS and a special amplifier which offers a fully linearised and temperature compensated DC-voltage output signal.
The amplifier uses a new, patent pending technique for the accurate measurement of the sensor element.
The linear voltage signal reduces the efforts for the electronic measuring equipment and cable connections.
The temperature compensation directly picks up the soil temperature. Thus, the otherwise problematic temperature difference between logger and sensor is avoided.
